Association For Creative Industries Welcomes Partner Organizations to Creativation 2020

Bringing more creative industries professionals to Phoenix, AZ, January 16 – 20, 2020

October 3, 2019 (Chicago, IL)—The Association For Creative Industries (AFCI) is pleased to announce four partner organizations will be co-locating at Creativation 2020, January 16 – 20, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. The National NeedleArts Association (TNNA), Alliance of Independent Retailers (AIR), The Collins Group, and Crafters’ Home will be onsite hosting their own member events and participating in AFCI’s annual trade show.

“The AFCI Board of Directors is excited to welcome our partners and fellow creative industries organizations to Creativation 2020. Doing so supports what we are hearing from our collective memberships—creative professionals are looking for one event where they can make connections, exchange ideas, and preview products and trends within our markets”, stated AFCI Chair, Jim Thielen. “Our partnerships directly tie to AFCI’s strategic goal to reimagine Creativation and collaborate with industry stakeholders to create an event that delivers business value, inspiration, and makes it a ‘can’t miss’ experience.” Each partner organization represents varying markets and professionals within the creative industry; each of them will be participating throughout the week in different ways.

In lieu of its 2020 Winter Market, TNNA will have its own designated TNNA Pavilion on the Creativation show floor. The pavilion will include TNNA exhibitors from the cross stitch/counted thread, knitting/crochet, spinning and weaving, and yarn markets. The Collins Group will host its Retailer Symposium on January 16 – 17. Crafters’ Home will offer classes to its members on January 15 – 16. AIR will host roundtable discussions and industry conversations among brick and mortar retailers regarding what to expect in 2020.

The largest North American trade event in the creative industries, Creativation brings together more than 4,400 creative professionals. Registration for the trade show and classes are now open for Creativation 2020.
